The flight paths of the clay targets in Skeet Shooting mirror that of live birds in the wild. This challenging game is a great way to build your hunting skills, and also a fun way to spend time with friends and family.
The Middletown Sportsmen's Club offers two skeet shooting fields for our members to utilize. We also host a number of skeet events that are very popular, with prizes and awards for those who fare well.
What is Skeet Shooting?

A skeet course has seven stations located in a semi-circle, and an eighth position in the middle. While the target path remains the same, the shooting angles vary from station to station.
Clay targets are thrown from two skeet houses on each side of the course. Birds are thrown as single and crossing doubles depending upon your location. A perfect score is hitting 25 consecutive targets. Skeet shooting is enjoyable for all ages and experience levels.
